My name is Mark Wilder. I was introduced to a factory in 1991 as a Kelly temporary to a permanent employee. I started in production reworking parts, grinding excess material in a Mold Shop. Eventually, I got hired and ran an injection molding machine that molded a variety of metal injection molding parts. Then I moved up to lead person for second shift with a team of 15 people. Then I designed a handling device that the Machine Shop made for me and then I pitched the template on an angle and hooked up a vibrating device. We went from 1 tray staging taking 45 minutes to 18 seconds at 1000 parts! Shortly after that, the company and I parted ways.
Shortly thereafter I found a Machine Shop to apprentice at which was Daytona Mold for thee years and then started bouncing around different shops and in doing this I gained a variety of experience. So I am strong in fixtures and time solving production Jigs.
Some of the shops I have been in also include Job Shop, Production Shop, Mold Shop, CNC Machining and manual machining. Now transitioning from conversational CNC to full blown detailed oriented CNC. I am also knowledgeable of heat treatment and will soon be adding this service. I provide Tig Welding, Mig Welding and have working knowledge with a variety of materials, Stainless Steel, a variety of plastics, aluminum, Tool Steels and Titanium.
Drop by the machine shop toady to talk to Mark or take a tour of the property. Call ahead to make sure about availability. Mark always has an animatronic character on the property that he’s restoring.
